Details: The ILB was diverted from routine training following a report from the nearby Coastwatch station that a speed boat was drifting out to sea with engine failure.
The ILB assisted the Power boat to shore and offered advice to the owner.
Once all passengers were safe the ILB was stood down and returned to routine exercises.
Outcome: ASSISTED.
